Birmingham-born, Cammie Cunningham is no stranger to the trials and tribulations of relocating. Throughout her formative years, Cammie was tasked with personally acclimating herself to a number of different schools in order to make new friends. Moving to Etowah County at the age of eight, Cammie attended several County schools before enrolling in Glencoe in the sixth grade. It was Glencoe where Cammie put down her roots and fell in love with a community. However, the best part of relocating is that it allowed Cammie to never meet a stranger and quickly make new friends.
After graduating High School, Cammie went on to study at Gadsden State Community College and Jacksonville State University. Her educational background has worked in elevating her already superior people skills.
In 2015, Cammie started her career in Real Estate – a dream she had since the age of 18. She quickly knew this was a calling God had placed on her life and she was walking out her purpose…Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your work to the Lord and all your plans will succeed.” This became Cammie’s life verse as she dedicated her work to the Lord in ALL areas. Cammie knew God had given her a love for people and her town – and Gadsden, Alabama soon became her mission field. With a love for God and people, Cammie strives to make a difference in the lives of others as she helps them find their dream homes!
Cammie fell in love with Real Estate and all that it entails. She loves working with first-time homebuyers and the thrill of guiding a client through their First Home purchase. She believes a house is so much more than brick and mortar. A house is a home where you are going to bring your babies. Where children take their first steps and learn to ride a bike, on the first day of school pictures will be made on the porch, Proms, first dates, and tooth fairy visits. A HOME is where life happens. Where you put down your roots and make memories. When Cammie is working with her clients, she works really hard to find them that perfect home where they can make many wonderful memories, Where Life Happens.
In 2019, God was directing Cammie to open her own company. She had so many reservations and she was so scared. It was on a mission trip to Ireland with her church that she felt God confirm her hesitations and came home and opened River Towne Real Estate Group. Cammie shares, “I am so proud of what this company has grown to become and I know all that we do is done to Glorify God.”
Cammie lives in Southside with her husband Rodney Cunningham and their children Hannah, Landon, and Noah. And her special baby Charli.
Cammie believes in giving back to her community. She is an active member of the Church of the Highlands and is a project leader for First Saturday Serve Day. Cammie is a member of the Kiwanis of Gadsden, and an Ambassador for the Gadsden Etowah Chamber of Commerce. She also participates in several non-profit organizations that help the community of Gadsden.
