Joy is a native of Etowah County and a graduate of Emma Sansom High School. She holds a B.S. and M.S. from Jacksonville State University. Many of you know Joy as a teacher at Eura Brown Elementary School. Her name is so appropriate as she is an absolute “Joy” to those who encounter her. One of her favorite things is to serve at Church of the Highlands – Gadsden. She has two daughters, Camilee Downey and Sally Ann Williams (John). Presently, her total bliss is Killian Chase “KC” Williams – her first grandchild.
